Interchange Systems

Interchange Systems is a start-up digital signage provider and content development company. As a start-up company, financial resources were limited and providing solutions to their needs while maintaining their budget was of the utmost imporance.

Instead of purchasing new computers, existing computers were upgraded for a fraction of the cost. Since several graphic designers and other consultants were spread across multiple regions of the country, VOIP (voice of IP) and other internet-based teleconference solutions were used to eliminate travel expenses. File sharing systems were put in place so that all parties had access to view and make changes to content as necessary.

Additionally, as the primary technology consultant I acted as a mediator between other consultants specific to their specialty. While not acting as a decision maker, I helped graphic designers understand the limitations of the digital signage systems. I helped engineers manufacturing the digital signage systems expand their capabilities to accomodate the ideas of the graphic designers. Most importantly, I made sure that as a company, Interchange Systems was able to stay on the cutting edge and exceed the expectations of their customers.
