Culligan

When Culligan needed to upgrade the IT Infrastructure at one of their facilities to accomodate more office space for their employees I was contracted to facilitate their needs.

Working with Culligan I discussed their current needs and potential future needs to ensure that they would have the appropriate number of data ports installed.

New CAT 6 cable was run through the drop ceiling of their two story facility and the cables were dropped beihnd the walls and new boxes were mounted in the walls near their current electrical outlets. A new patch panel and 24-port switch was installed in the server room to accomodate the new ports. Though not all of the ports installed in the office are being used by their employees, all of the connections were completed so that at any time additional computers, printers or other resources are needed all that is required by Culligan is to plug the resource into the wall jack and it will become part of the network.

Additionally, I provided technical support for some of their computers that required system upgrades and/or repairs. All of the work was done on-site and most of the work was done after hours so as to not disrupt the employees who were using the computers.
